I'm working hard at getting the sprites and background tiles just right for Mickey the Mouse: Cryptsmasher. I want them to look clear even on an orig. DMG Game Boy screen while being as dark as possible.. tricky!

This is a bit earlier than I'd normally share images of a game in production, but my wife said she likes it and I should share it right away. And I gotta do what she says! 😄👍🏻 So here's a screen of the title card from the first game in my new Mickey the Mouse series of games!

This is something I've wanted to accomplish since I was a kid, and from the graphics to the cute little animals to the double entendres (don't worry they'll go over kids' heads), I've put a lot of myself and my personality into this one.

I would also like to thank my beautiful partner Jazz for painstakingly and diligently testing the entire game pretty much alone. Thank you my love, you are a QA Warrior!

Now that the demo for Bustina is out, I've been working on polishing off the sections of the game that are there before moving on to the next area. I'm really happy with how these new beach sprites are turning out!

If you're not familiar with Hurdle Turtle, he actually got his start right here on the Newgrounds frontpage back in 2010, as well as Xbox 360!  I decided it was time to overhaul the gameplay and combine all of the levels from the various versions of the game, as well as some new ones, in a nice shiny HD package. 

Oh, the game also officially stars Kratos from God of War but you know, whatever. ;)

Once again, we'd like to thank Newgrounds and the Newgrounds community for all their support in the past :D

A few weeks back we sort-of announced, via our various social networks, the sequel to what is probably our most beloved game - Hurdle Turtle 2! Well, now we'd like to full-on announce it all officially and stuff - HT2 will be releasing on Xbox Live Indie Games later this year! We have some brand new screenshots for you as well! We could only attach one to this news post, so be sure to check our blog right here for the other one ;)

As you can see, there's a bunch of changes and new features that have been added. Graphics are tighter, Hurdle actually earns his Turtle title by swimming through some stages, and there is now 4 player local co-op! Believe me, if you thought the original got crazy as the speed poured on, just you wait... ;)

In addition to all of that, Hurdle now progresses throughout a series of stages - no more endless running for this turtle!

As if all that wasn't enough, another treat is that Octapus is back with another amazing chiptune-inspired soundtrack!

There are other surprises in store as well as development continues, and you'll find out about them first-hand on our blog, so stay tuned!
